How much should a fitting be tightened?

Hy-Lok fittings should be tightened 1 1/4 around from finger-tight. See clamping instructions here: We also have a video guide on Youtube

Can I get a filter housing with extra ports?

You can – no problem. Let us know how many you need and where to place them. We get a drawing and then we take it from there. We supply many filter houses with customized adjustments.

Can you make filter housings in special materials?

We have extensive experience with filter housings in special materials.

Almost no matter how exotic your material requirements are, Classic Filters can produce a filter housing made from them.

316L stainless steel is only the start: We can produce filter housings in Titanium, Hastelloy, Monel, Inconel, Duplex, Super Duplex. We can also deliver them quickly with average delivery times of four weeks. We even have small stocks of some of the houses in the series SS117 and SS127 in Hastelloy C-276 for immediate delivery.

Materials available are among:

  • Hastelloy C-276
  • Hastelloy C-22
  • Monel 400
  • Titanium
  • Inconel 625
  • Incoloy 800

What pressure can the filter housings be used for?

The filter housings can be used for negative and positive pressure applications that provide a range from total vacuum to over 1300 bar.

Does Hy-Lok fittings Fits with eg. Parker A-lok and Swagelok

Yes. It is possible to both mix and replace Swagelok with A-locomotive, Swagelok and other manufacturers. Several tests have been made that it works and we would like to send documentation. Submit a query on info@pgflowteknik.dk
