Analysis & Instrumentation Pressure Regulators

Precision regulators developed for analysis- and instrumentation applications, where even small pressure variations can affect measurement results

The design often includes diaphragm sensors in Inconel® X750 for maximum strength and flexibility, combined with 316 stainless steel and low internal volume for high purity. The series ranges from compact gas cylinder regulators to ATEX-certified (2014/34/EU), heated models that ensure reliable performance even under demanding conditions. Balanced valve technology maintains stable outlet pressure with changing inlet pressure, making them the industry benchmark for gas sampling, laboratory equipment, and sensitive process control.

Low flow regulators

Regulators for low flow featuring piston sensors in a precision-machined, fully supported design that ensures accurate and stable pressure control even at microscopic flow rates—and at working pressures up to 1,034 bar (15,000 psi).

The series is used for oxygen, CO₂, natural gas, methane, ammonia, argon, nitrogen, and helium, and the sensor-spring combinations provide low adjustment torque with high precision and repeatability. The regulators are manufactured in 316 stainless steel or brass and can be G93 cleaned for oxygen service. Port sizes from 1/8” to 3/8” allow flexible integration in laboratory, research, and special installations.

Medium-Flow Pressure Regulators

Regulators for medium flow, primarily for gas applications, with diaphragm sensors for precise control up to 10 bar (145 psi) and piston sensors for higher pressures up to 414 bar (6,000 psi)

Manufactured in 316 stainless steel or brass and available with G93 cleaning for oxygen service. Port sizes from 1/2” to 1” provide flexible integration into the system, and balanced valve technology ensures stable outlet pressure even under changing inlet conditions. A versatile solution for both industrial use and research facilities where reliability and precision are critical.

High-Flow Pressure Regulators

Powerful regulators for precise control of large gas or liquid volumes, with options for diaphragm sensing up to 10 bar (145 psi) or piston sensing for higher demands up to 210 bar (3,045 psi)

Port sizes from 1/2” to 3” are offered with threaded or flange connections, and spring- or dome-loaded configurations reduce the droop effect for maximum pressure stability. With flow capacity of several thousand Nm³/h, they effectively handle heavy-duty and variable-pressure levels—even in aggressive media environments where precision and operational reliability are essential.

Hydraulic Pressure Regulators

Hydraulic regulators with precision-machined, piston-sensitive elements that ensure accurate pressure control up to 1,380 bar (20,000 psi).

The series includes ratio- or dome-loaded designs, as well as “self-venting” options with captured vent ports for increased safety and controlled venting. Port sizes from 1/4” to 3/4” provide flexible integration into the system, while the robust construction withstands high back-pressure, aggressive media, and pressure pulses. Designed for operation in demanding environments such as offshore and subsea, where maximum operational reliability is an absolute requirement.

Back-Pressure Regulators

Regulators that precisely control the inlet pressure to a process and maintain a stable back-pressure—even under changing flow conditions.

The series covers port sizes from 1/8” to 2” and control pressures from 0.1 bar (2 psi) to 690 bar (10,000 psi), and can be used for both gas and liquid applications. The design features a large sensing surface and minimal seat load, ensuring precise, stable, and repeatable shut-off—making them ideal for systems with complex operating conditions.

Hydrogen Pressure Regulators

Regulators specially designed for the safe handling of hydrogen, manufactured in 316 stainless steel and compatible super­alloys that effectively counteract H₂ diffusion and ensure maximum operational safety

The series includes both back-pressure and reducing regulators for a wide range of applications such as fuel cells, laboratories, vehicles, buses and trucks, drones, forklifts, refueling stations, and electrolysis plants. Important models include EC79-approved AUTO438 regulators and TPED-approved CV414-SC cylinder handles, which meet international safety standards and the industry’s highest requirements for reliability.
